EA trying to get people to forget they renewed basically a complete monopoly on NFL games that majorly pissed off sports sport lovers. EA and NFL did not force eachother into a decision. I'm sure they are both happy to make bucketloads of Madden nfl 21 coins cash. Folks just need to blame the party they hate the most. The NFL honestly doesnt care at all, they only care about their picture and gains, they understand the image that the nfl's had beneath EA and are satisfied with this continuing without taking"risk" in seeing how other publishers would introduce their brand. As for money they likely determined that however much ea is paying for exclusivity is close enough to offeset the further profits obtained from going multi-published, im not happy about, but thats the reality. Many people outside echochambers similar to this one do not care.
Yeah we keep saying that. Majority of Reddit will not buy it. Why the fuck would EA care when they make complete bank on the match. I'm wondering what next-gen will bring to the table. The teaser trailer from a few weeks ago had a peek at the in-engine footage. EA does something most people would regard as great and people figure out ways to make it bad. It is not totally unappreciated, but like, we've seen that with pride month. Most companies just started doing it once they knew it had been fiscally safe to come out in support. Does not make it a bad thing. Look at Netflix writers. A good deal of them have openly stated that they have desired x race or x-ray character in shows they've wanted to create, just for other studios to tell them to tone it down or eliminate it completely. Netflix doesn't inform these people to write stories like this, they have just given them the freedom to. Much like HBO.
Idk, the way I view it, businesses are constantly trying to pander. Examine the"we are all going through rough times" shit we obtained for covid19. I don't know why people single out Pride month pandering year in, year out. I don't know why people single out Pride month pandering year after year. Because frequently, a bunch of companies who have supported anti-LGBT policies, politicians, or perhaps have just been not terribly progressive previously, all slap rainbow avatars on Twitter and either say some words that are hollow, or worse, trying to market pride-themed merchandise. Because often, a bunch of companies that have supported anti-LGBT policies, politicians, or even perhaps have just been not terribly progressive in the past, all slap on rainbow avatars on twitter and either say some hollow words, or even worse, attempting to monetize pride-themed product. It's singled out because it is particularly clear. I think fauxgressive is much better. Passive progressive sounds just like an authentic progressive entity who makes no progressive actions. Fauxgressive sounds like somebody pretending to buy Madden 21 coins be progressive. I recall reading that a sizable segment of the LGBTQ community hates how corporate Pride Parades have gotten since those corporations were nowhere to be observed when their service would have made a difference, especially in the peak of the AIDS catastrophe.
