As for how I would prefer the Animal Crossing Items subreddit moderatedI wish to keep it comparatively light-hearted. I personally wouldn't mind more or less rules. I simply don't want it to be too strict, I do not think stringent principles apply nicely to some general Animal Crossing subreddit.
Regardless of the fluffy nature of the game, this community can be incredibly rabid when something that they do not like gets published. I report those things as I view them, but then I see the toxic posters continue to post here and wonder if it even does any good. I'm going to be entirely honest here however, I know your second stage. And I will admit for awhile, there hasn't been a lot of active moderation , just being 1-2 busy mods at a few points. Lately I sat down for a while and caught up together with the monstrously deep queue. That is why I'd like to have some new moderators, therefore the busy ones don't get burned out and things fall behind again. So please, keep reporting.
As for the dash system, we don't have one that is relatively basic. If you have any suggestions for certain flairs you may don't hesitate to say so.
Finally and once more, thank you for your feedback. And sorry if this comment seems a bit unorganized/poorly composed, I rather just threw my thoughts into the comment box.
Spoilers/Time Traveling - I presume we have a spoiler/time travel label on this. It destroys the game for those folks who play ac the way it was meant to be played (personal opinion). I really don't want to see all of the new holiday items a month until they're supposed to be seen. This also was the case with snow, where north census people were tt to chilly while it was fall.
Adding onto that, I think we need a flair for photos which are visually enhanced/filtered. There are some gorgeous photos posted on this, and I love seeing them, however, most are because of editing and filters. I think that they're fine but when it is causing sufficient stress on the neighborhood maybe they ought to be removed. I never have seen them as negative, but as a beneficial and bittersweet second this match has allowed for people grieving. That said, people can grieve without letting the entire world know about it...
Now most people have undergone all four seasons, and given that the two hemispheres have been in various seasons, so I don't think a spoiler tag ought to be necessary for general content that happens in different months due to TT.
However, I would support a spoiler label for some events/items (e.g., toy afternoon, festivale) and especially for items that may only be collected from completing that event (like the festivale float) or which may only be obtained via hacking (instead of an item collected through TT and traded into a player who does not TT), maybe until the Cheap Nook Miles Ticket event is unlocked/has begun in the past time zone/items are added to the match and believed"tradeable" without hacking.
